Author, Lynn Miller, has been a farming teamster for over thirty years. He has authored many books on the subject of animal-powered agriculture and is the founder, publisher and editor of Small Farmer's Journal.

He has also taught workshops, lectured and demonstrated many aspects of the teamster's craft. This second edition greatly expands on the widely popular first edition, with hundreds of additional drawings and photographs, plus a revised and expanded text.
