Installing Solid Steel Rivets
To install a solid steel rivet, begin by inserting it through aligned holes in the materials being joined. Using a hammer or a specialized riveting tool, strike the unheaded end of the rivet, causing it to deform and form a second head. This secures the rivet in place, creating a strong and permanent connection. Once installed, steel rivets can only be removed by using tools which destroy the fastener.
