Civil War Cannon Wheel - Extra Heavy-57" X 3" ($765 each)

Excellent wheel for Napoleon Cannon Carriages. Traditional heavy wood-hub wheel with a 1/4” steel tire. These sturdy wood wheels are the perfect option for building an authentic design cannon. Use with our 13 3/4" Cannon Axle Spindle and Boxings.

The hub will need to be bored out to match the diameter of the boxing and the boxing will need to be securely set into the hub. This is a necessary step for any wheel that will be "riding" on an axle.

Wood hub wheels and sarvin wheels need a metal sleeve or "boxing" compression fit into the hub so that the wheel can "ride" on the axle. We offer this service for all sizes of wheels and axle widths and you can learn more about that on our Bore Hub and Set Boxings page.

You won’t be charged initially for the wheels or shipping; this step allows us to calculate and provide you with a shipping quote. After you recieve the quote for the wheel(s) and shipping you can decide if you would like to proceed with the order and pay at that time.
