We start with an original wagon in inventory, you may choose from our list of vehicles and we will then quote the work required to transform the wagon into your wagon, our you may buy the wagon as is.
This was an original in stock wagon of ours, we restored it and then outfitted it with all the necessities. We gave it bows, a canvas top, rifle, furs, trunks, buckets and chests to represent a Danish Immigrants covered wagon settling the Great Plains. This wagon ended up in a Danish American museum in Rebilt, Denmark.
Static Display Covered Wagon An original wagon we refurbished. We also added a penetrating preservative oil treatment so this wagon could handle outdoor display. This wagon came with barrels, roll back top, pots, pans, and hitch equipment.
This wagon was built for the Sutters Fort Museum. This authentic wagon was used on the Oregon-California Gold Rush Trail. The Oregon-California Trails Association awarded us for our expertise in craftsmanship. This wagon has carved wood axles, iron clouts, wood work is hand shaved, and iron is hand forged. This style of wagon has lynch pin axles instead of the thimble skein axles being used 10 years later until the turn of the century.
Pioneer Covered Wagon Traditional Schooner circa 1850 with newly fabricated wagon box installed on a 1910 farm wagon running gear which has square nuts instead of the earlier style lynch pin. This is the economical option when buying an exhibit wagon because the wagon looks nearly as authentic with this running gear but is a fraction of the price.
This covered wagon along with two other wagons of ours are displayed in the The Great Platte River Road Archway Monument in Kearney Nebraska. So if you are traveling on the I-80 through Nebraska be sure to stop in and see our wagons!
Half Covered Wagons Our popular half wagons provide the look and feel of a wagon but take up less space. For example many museums with small space choose to incorporate a wall mural into our half wagons. Also retail stores have purchased our half wagons to display products in.
