Concord Coach

One of 10 stagecoaches built for Wells Fargo. Western Concord Mail Coach
Traditional style Coach - Symbol of the West
The Western style stagecoaches - built by the Abbot-Downing Co. of Concord, NH - were used by Wells Fargo to transport gold, mail, and passengers throughout the rugged Western Territory. The nine-passenger body was more heavily ironed than the Eastern model, with leather roll-down curtains, leather front boot, and a fully enclosed leather rear boot. Our coaches are custom-built and hand-crafted from start to finish by our experienced craftsmen. All phases of the authentic construction, from the hand-forged hardware to the high quality upholstery finish, are handled in-house to assure a superior quality product. We use all premium wood and materials - no fiberglass! Each and every coach is of museum quality standards. Murals and striping available by nationally known artist.

“From our initial meeting with Doug Hansen, dealing with Hansen Wheel & Wagon has been the way every business transaction should be. Doug came to the table with creative ideas and input. Hansen Wheel & Wagon followed through with their commitment on meeting our very tough timetable and delivered a true masterpiece of a stagecoach, which we can all be proud of! I would highly recommend Doug and his team to anyone looking for a qualitybuilt product, delivered on time and as promised!” - Kevin Matthews, Modern Continental
